What we collect
- Store content you ask us to translate (products, collections, pages, menus, theme strings, metafields), read through Shopify's Translations API.
- Shop and account details Shopify shares when you install, such as your store domain and the locales you enable.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or by email, including your name, email, and store URL.
We do not collect your shoppers' personal data, your orders, or your customer records.
How we use it
We use store content solely to translate your store and to maintain your translation memory so the same content is not re-translated. We use your contact details to reply to you and to provide support. We do not sell your data, and your content is not used to train any AI model.
Who processes it
We share content with a small set of sub-processors strictly to run the service: Anthropic (translation), our hosting provider (running the app and database), and Resend (email). These are listed and kept current on our security page.
Retention
We keep your translations and translation memory while Loqua is installed. When you uninstall, we remove the translations we registered on your store, and you can ask us to delete your stored data entirely at any time.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR and GDPR to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email hello@rse-labs.com and we will action your request.
Cookies
This marketing site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The Loqua app itself uses only the session cookies Shopify requires for an embedded app to function.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes affecting installed merchants, notify you by email.
