Terms of service
The plain version of the agreement between your store and Loqua.
The service
Loqua is a Shopify app that translates your store's content using a large language model with the brand context you provide, and publishes those translations through Shopify's Translations API. By installing Loqua you agree to these terms.
Billing and trial
Loqua is billed through Shopify. Each plan starts with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, your selected plan is charged monthly on your Shopify invoice in your store currency. You can change plan or cancel at any time from your Shopify admin; cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Acceptable use
Use Loqua for translating legitimate store content. Do not use it to process content you do not have the right to translate, or to attempt to disrupt the service or other merchants.
Availability
We work to keep Loqua available and accurate. Paid Scale plans include a service-level agreement on response and uptime. Other plans are provided on a commercially reasonable best-efforts basis. Machine translation is not infallible; the review queue exists so you can approve anything the model is unsure about before it goes live.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, RSE Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Loqua. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes affecting installed merchants we will notify you by email and update the date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
